Why sponsor WordCamp Nairobi?
WordCamps are community-organized events that bring together WordPress users of all skill levels. The very low ticket price allows novice users to site next to and learn from and with some of the most advanced WordPress developers around the country.
A majority of the funding comes from business and local volunteers. Sponsoring a Word Camp is a great way to expose your brand to the WordPress community. People attend Word Camps meet, interact and learn more as they look for new opportunities and you should take part in that.
WordCamp Nairobi will be a two-day event that will be held on the 1st and 2nd December in which you will get to meet important people in the WordPress industry and even future employees. Word Camps are events that are authorized by the WordPress foundation. We follow the codes of conduct for the quality of the event. As such, the more sponsors we get, the bigger the event will be.
Sponsors
We have three levels of sponsorship as listed below,
Platinum Level – KSh – 500,000 (Only 1 Sponsor)
Platinum sponsor is the main Sponsor of WordCamp Nairobi. You’ll be acknowledged throughout the event, have a significant presence in the conference hall, and get a big thanks on the WordCamp Nairobi site.
Here are some details on how Platinum sponsor will be acknowledged:
- Dedicated post on the website
- Thank you tweet from official WordCamp Nairobi Twitter and Facebook accounts
- Signage and presence at official WordCamp Nairobi After Party
- Thank you signage at Speakers Dinner
- Acknowledgment and thanks in opening and closing remarks.
- 12′ table space (or booth if provided by the sponsor) with prime placement in the conference hall for two days of answering attendee questions, recruiting, and hobnobbing.
- Largest logo on the “thank you sponsors” sign at the after-party.
- Inclusion of your logo on between-session projector slide at the event and on the live stream.
- Persistent logo and link on official WordCamp Nairobi site.
- Up to 10 WordCamp Nairobi tickets reserved for your company representatives.
- Logo on badges and WordCamp Nairobi print materials
Gold level-KSh. 200,000
- 4 tickets to the 2-day event.
- Name, logo and company description on website.
- Special thanks you on a blog post.
- Own table to showcase products/services.
- Display banners during the event.
- Verbal mention during opening and closing remarks
- opportunity to place literature and stickers on the registration table
- Logo on badges and event print material
Silver level-KSh. 25,000
- 2 tickets to the 2-day event.
- Display banners during the events.
- Special thank you on a blog post.
- Verbal mention during opening and closing remarks
- Individual thank you tweet when added to the website.
- Opportunity to Speak at the event
Bronze level-KSh. 15,000
- 1 ticket to the 2-day event.
- Thank you tweet (with other supporters)
- Listed on supporter web page.
- 1 Display banner during the events.
