Kiai Joseph is a web developer and digital designer based in Kenya, building websites and web applications that are as practical to manage as they are good to look at. From UI/UX design to frontend and backend development, Kiai works with clients in law, real estate, healthcare, and e-commerce, and handles the technical groundwork too, from DNS and email to server configuration, so every project launches on a solid footing.
As Lead, Sponsorships, Kiai manages all partner relations, from sourcing and onboarding sponsors to coordinating their on-site presence. He ensures our sponsors feel valued and seamlessly integrated into the conference experience.
Kiai + WordPress
Kiai has worked with WordPress for 10 years and is a member of the organizing teams for both the Nairobi and Nakuru WordPress Meetups, where regular duties include running events and hosting sessions. A familiar face in the local community, Kiai enjoys helping peers and newcomers find their feet. For this year’s WordCamp, Kiai is on the logistics team, working to make sure everything runs smoothly for attendees, speakers, and fellow organizers.
